Frequently Asked Questions - The Spa Hyu Korean Spa

 Guests must be 12 years of age or older to enter The Spa Hyu.

  Yes. The gender-separated bathing areas are traditional nude spa areas. Swimsuits, underwear and other clothing are not permitted. Spa uniforms are provided for the co-ed main hall and jjimjilbang areas. 

 Cell phones and other recording devices are strictly prohibited in nude areas to protect guest privacy. 

  Yes. Guests must shower thoroughly before entering the pools. 

   No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Food and beverages are available in our restaurant and café. 

 Spa admission is waived with qualifying treatment services. Please review the individual service description for details. 

 Please check in at least 30 minutes before your scheduled service. 

 Korean body scrub services are performed in the gender-separated spa areas by same-gender therapists. Services, duration and pricing may vary by spa area. 

Our $40 admission grants access to all the amenities including dry and steam saunas in the gender restricted communal bathing areas with hot, warm, and cold pools, and 5 different themed saunas in the main hall (co-ed) with restaurant and cafe for 6 hours. 

 Bring your gift card receipt, call us, or contact us through our website to book your service. 

 Yes. Please provide the purchaser's name, recipient's name and recipient's phone number so we can properly identify the gift card. You can then forward the receipt to the recipient. 

 Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 12 hours' notice. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment may be subject to a $35 cancellation fee. Guests should arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled service. Late arrival may shorten the treatment time. 

 Can I use the spa while pregnant? 

 If you are pregnant or may be pregnant, please inform our front desk before using spa amenities or booking services. Certain treatments and heat-based amenities may not be appropriate during pregnancy. Please consult your healthcare provider before your visit. 

What if I have allergies?

If you have any allergies or skin sensitivities, please let our front desk and your therapist know before your service begins. Some treatments may use skincare products, oils, scrubs, cucumber, seaweed, salt, or other topical ingredients.

If you have a known severe allergy or are unsure whether a product is safe for you, please review the ingredients in advance and consult your healthcare provider if necessary. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
