Visiting a Korean spa for the first time may feel a little unfamiliar. This guide will walk you through what to expect so you can relax and enjoy your visit to The Spa Hyu.
1. Check In
When you arrive, check in at the front desk. You will receive a wristband key that provides access to your lockers.
General admission guests do not need a reservation. If you have a scheduled massage, body scrub, or other service, please arrive at least 30 minutes before your appointment.
2. Store Your Shoes and Belongings
You will use two lockers:
Use your wristband key to lock and unlock your assigned lockers.
3. Shower Before Entering the Pools
Please shower thoroughly before entering any of the pools or bathing areas.
The wet spa areas are gender-separated and follow traditional Korean spa customs.
4. What to Wear
Swimsuits, underwear, shoes, and slippers are not permitted in the gender-separated wet spa areas.
The bathing areas are traditionally used without clothing.
A Spa Hyu uniform is provided for use in the co-ed main hall, restaurant, relaxation areas, and jjimjilbang sauna rooms.
5. Enjoy the Wet Spa
Take your time enjoying the hot, warm, and cold pools, steam room, and dry sauna in the gender-separated spa area.
Move between temperatures at your own pace and take breaks whenever needed.
6. Explore the Co-Ed Jjimjilbang
After changing into your Spa Hyu uniform, you may enter the co-ed main hall.
Our jjimjilbang includes five themed rooms:

7. Dining
Food and beverages are available for purchase at our Korean restaurant and café.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
8. Massage Appointments
For Deep Tissue, Swedish, Head Massage, and other massage appointments, please report to the service desk near the restaurant approximately five minutes before your scheduled treatment time.
9. Korean Body Scrubs
If you have a Korean body scrub or body scrub and massage combination scheduled, we recommend soaking in a warm or hot bath for approximately 10–15 minutes beforehand.
After soaking, remain in the wet spa area and follow the instructions provided for meeting your therapist.
Body scrub services are performed in the gender-separated spa areas by same-gender therapists.
10. Cell Phones & Privacy
Cell phones, cameras, and other recording devices are strictly prohibited in nude areas.
Please respect the privacy of all guests.
11. What Should I Bring?
You do not need to bring much. We recommend bringing only your personal essentials.

12. How Long Can I Stay?
General admission includes up to six hours at The Spa Hyu, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the pools, saunas, jjimjilbang, dining, and relaxation areas.

Please follow all posted signs and staff instructions while using the facilities. If you are unsure about anything during your first visit, our front desk team will be happy to assist you.
